Ingredients
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup crushed nuts (optional)
- 1 tablespoon rum or vanilla extract (optional)
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, heat the heavy cream over medium heat until it starts to simmer.
- Remove from heat and add the chocolate chips. Stir until fully melted and smooth.
- If using, stir in rum or vanilla extract.
- Refrigerate the mixture for about 120 minutes or until firm enough to scoop.
- Once firm, use a melon baller or spoon to scoop out small amounts and roll them into balls.
- Roll the truffles in cocoa powder or crushed nuts to coat.
- Place in an airtight container and refrigerate until ready to serve. Enjoy!
