Description

Rich, creamy truffles that are easy to make and perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup crushed nuts (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon rum or vanilla extract (optional)


Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, heat the heavy cream over medium heat until it starts to simmer.
  2. Remove from heat and add the chocolate chips. Stir until fully melted and smooth.
  3. If using, stir in rum or vanilla extract.
  4. Refrigerate the mixture for about 120 minutes or until firm enough to scoop.
  5. Once firm, use a melon baller or spoon to scoop out small amounts and roll them into balls.
  6. Roll the truffles in cocoa powder or crushed nuts to coat.
  7. Place in an airtight container and refrigerate until ready to serve. Enjoy!
