Ingredients

  • 1 cup of pretzels
  • 1 cup of unsalted butter
  • 1 cup of brown sugar
  • 2 cups of chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup of M&Ms (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spread the pretzels in a single layer.
  3. In a saucepan, melt the butter and brown sugar together over medium heat, stirring until combined and bubbly.
  4. Pour the butter mixture over the pretzels, spreading it evenly.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 5-7 minutes until bubbly.
  6. Remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle the chocolate chips on top.
  7. Allow the chocolate to melt for a couple of minutes, then spread it evenly over the pretzels.
  8. If desired, sprinkle M&Ms over the top before it cools.
  9. Let the mixture cool completely, then break it into pieces and enjoy.
