A quick and easy recipe that combines tender chicken breasts with a rich, buttery garlic sauce, perfect for busy weeknights.
Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Lemon wedges (for serving)
Instructions
- Pat the chicken breasts dry using paper towels. Season both sides with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- In a large skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium-high heat.
- Place the seasoned chicken breasts in the skillet and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the remaining butter and minced garlic; sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add the chicken back to the skillet, spoon garlic butter sauce over it, and let it soak for a minute.
- Remove from heat, sprinkle with fresh parsley, and serve hot with lemon wedges on the side.
Notes
For enhanced flavor, consider adding fresh herbs or a pinch of red pepper flakes.
