Description
A quick and satisfying dish featuring ground beef, garlic, and egg noodles in a rich sauce.
Ingredients
- 2 cups egg noodles (not cooked)
- 1 pound ground beef (lean)
- 1 onion (cut up)
- 2-3 garlic cloves (cut tiny)
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon Italian spices
- 1/4 cup flour
- 2 cups beef stock
- Salt & pepper to taste
Instructions
- Get water boiling with salt. Cook noodles according to package instructions.
- Put beef and onion in a pan on high heat. Break up the meat while it cooks for about 10 minutes.
- Turn the heat down. Add garlic, Worcestershire sauce, and Italian spices. Cook for 1 minute.
- Add the flour and mix well. Cook for 2 minutes.
- Pour in the beef stock slowly while stirring. Cook for 5-10 minutes until thick, adding more stock if necessary.
- Mix in the cooked noodles and add salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot.
Notes
Garnish with chopped parsley or grated cheese for added flavor. Great with a salad or steamed vegetables.
