Easy Beef and Noodles

Description

A quick and satisfying dish featuring ground beef, garlic, and egg noodles in a rich sauce.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups egg noodles (not cooked)
  • 1 pound ground beef (lean)
  • 1 onion (cut up)
  • 2-3 garlic cloves (cut tiny)
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon Italian spices
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 2 cups beef stock
  • Salt & pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Get water boiling with salt. Cook noodles according to package instructions.
  2. Put beef and onion in a pan on high heat. Break up the meat while it cooks for about 10 minutes.
  3. Turn the heat down. Add garlic, Worcestershire sauce, and Italian spices. Cook for 1 minute.
  4. Add the flour and mix well. Cook for 2 minutes.
  5. Pour in the beef stock slowly while stirring. Cook for 5-10 minutes until thick, adding more stock if necessary.
  6. Mix in the cooked noodles and add salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot.

Notes

Garnish with chopped parsley or grated cheese for added flavor. Great with a salad or steamed vegetables.
