Description

A creamy, spicy dip that’s perfect for any gathering, featuring shredded chicken and a melty cheese topping.


Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts, shredded into 1/2-inch pieces
  • 7 oz cream cheese, room temperature
  • 1 cup ranch dressing
  • 1 1/4 cups hot sauce
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 cup green onions, finely sliced
  • 1 cup mozzarella, plus 1/2 cup for topping
  • 1 cup cheddar, plus 1/2 cup for topping


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. If chicken is uncooked, bake or poach it until it reaches 165°F, then shred.
  3. In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add ranch dressing and hot sauce, stirring until creamy.
  4. Stir in pepper, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper.
  5. Fold in shredded chicken and half of the green onions. Add 1 cup mozzarella and 1 cup cheddar, stirring until mixed.
  6. Transfer mixture to baking dish and smooth the top. Sprinkle remaining cheeses.
  7. Bake for 20–25 minutes until bubbling. Broil for 1–3 minutes for a golden crust if desired.
  8. Let sit for 5 minutes, then garnish with remaining green onions and serve warm.
