Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 (12 oz) package stuffing mix
- 1/2 cup celery, chopped
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the crockpot.
- In a separate bowl, mix the cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, garlic powder, thyme, salt, and pepper. Pour this mixture over the chicken.
- Add the chopped celery and onion on top of the mixture.
- Spread the stuffing mix evenly over everything.
- Cover and cook on low for 360-420 minutes or on high for 180-240 minutes, until the chicken is cooked through and stuffing is heated.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, consider adding diced carrots or mushrooms. For a creamier stuffing, add extra chicken broth. Avoid overcooking the chicken to keep it tender and juicy.
