Description
Delightful crispy feta rolls made with creamy feta and cream cheese wrapped in phyllo dough for a mouthwatering appetizer.
Ingredients
- 1 package phyllo dough
- 8 oz feta cheese, crumbled
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 2 tbsp fresh herbs (such as dill or parsley), chopped
- 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
- 1 tbsp honey
- Butter, for brushing
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix the crumbled feta cheese, softened cream cheese, chopped herbs, and season with salt and pepper.
- Lay one sheet of phyllo dough on a clean surface and lightly brush it with melted butter.
- Place another sheet of phyllo on top and brush with butter again.
- Cut the layered phyllo into strips.
- Place a tablespoon of the feta mixture at one end of each strip and roll up tightly.
- Arrange the rolls on a baking sheet and brush the tops with more melted butter.
- Bake for 15–20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Mix the sweet chili sauce with honey and drizzle it over the baked rolls before serving.
Notes
Work quickly with phyllo dough to prevent drying. Generously butter each layer for crispy texture.
