Ingredients
- 4 cups potatoes, peeled and sliced (Yukon gold or russet)
- 2 cups cooked ham, diced
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: garlic powder, thyme, or favorite herbs
Instructions
- Place sliced potatoes and diced onion in the slow cooker.
- Add the diced ham on top of the potatoes.
- In a bowl, mix the heavy cream, shredded cheese, salt, pepper, and optional herbs. Pour the mixture over the ingredients in the slow cooker.
- Stir gently to combine.
- Cover and cook on low for 360-480 minutes or on high for 180-240 minutes, until the potatoes are tender and the sauce is bubbly.
