Description

Ingredients

  • 4 cups potatoes, peeled and sliced (Yukon gold or russet)
  • 2 cups cooked ham, diced
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: garlic powder, thyme, or favorite herbs


Instructions

  1. Place sliced potatoes and diced onion in the slow cooker.
  2. Add the diced ham on top of the potatoes.
  3. In a bowl, mix the heavy cream, shredded cheese, salt, pepper, and optional herbs. Pour the mixture over the ingredients in the slow cooker.
  4. Stir gently to combine.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 360-480 minutes or on high for 180-240 minutes, until the potatoes are tender and the sauce is bubbly.
  6. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

For best results, choose Yukon gold or russet potatoes for creaminess. Adjust seasonings and ingredients to your preference.
