Description
A comforting and creamy side dish that brings warmth and sweetness to any meal.
Ingredients
- 4 cups fresh or frozen corn
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Herbs and spices (e.g., thyme, paprika) to taste
Instructions
- In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the corn and sauté for a few minutes until slightly tender.
- Stir in the heavy cream and milk.
- Add sugar, salt, and pepper, mixing well.
- Simmer for about 10-15 minutes until the corn is cooked through and the sauce is thickened.
- Season with herbs and spices to taste, serve warm.
Notes
For extra creaminess, use all heavy cream instead of mixing with milk. Fresh corn tastes best, but frozen corn works just fine. Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less sugar depending on your taste.
