Description

A delightful casserole combining sweetness and creaminess, perfect for family dinners and gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 box Jiffy cornbread mix
  • 1 can creamed corn
  • 1 can whole kernel corn (drained)
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the Jiffy cornbread mix, creamed corn, whole kernel corn, sour cream, melted butter, and sugar until combined.
  3. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.
  4. If desired, sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes to 1 hour, or until the top is golden brown and set.
  6. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For added heat, you can incorporate chopped jalapeños or green chili peppers. It’s also delicious without cheese.
