Description

A delightful twist on the classic Italian Alfredo, using cottage cheese for a creamy and nutritious sauce.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz pasta
  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)


Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain it and set aside.
  2. In a blender, combine cottage cheese, garlic, Parmesan cheese, and milk. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  3. In a large skillet over medium heat, pour in the cottage cheese mixture and stir until warmed through.
  4. Add the drained pasta to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

For added protein, mix in grilled chicken or sautéed shrimp. Adjust sauce consistency with more milk if needed.
