Description

A juicy and flavorful classic meatloaf that’s easy to prepare and perfect for family gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup ketchup (for topping)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, bread crumbs, chopped onion, milk, eggs, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Mix until well combined.
  4. Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a lightly greased baking dish.
  5. Spread ketchup over the top of the meatloaf.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 1 hour, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
  7. Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Serve with mashed potatoes, green beans, or a side salad. Can be topped with extra ketchup or gravy for added flavor.
