Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 eggs
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup ketchup (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, bread crumbs, chopped onion, milk, eggs, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper.
- Mix until well combined.
- Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a lightly greased baking dish.
- Spread ketchup over the top of the meatloaf.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 1 hour, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
- Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
Serve with mashed potatoes, green beans, or a side salad. Can be topped with extra ketchup or gravy for added flavor.
