Description

Sweet, crunchy cinnamon crisps perfect for sharing during the holiday season.


Ingredients

  • 6 large flour tortillas
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
  • Pinch of ground nutmeg (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together granulated sugar, ground cinnamon, and nutmeg until well blended.
  3. Brush both sides of each tortilla with melted butter. Sprinkle cinnamon sugar mixture evenly over both sides.
  4. Slice the tortillas into triangles, strips, or festive shapes. Arrange them in a single layer on the baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy. Rotate the pan halfway through the baking.
  6. Remove from the oven and cool completely on a wire rack.
