Sweet, crunchy cinnamon crisps perfect for sharing during the holiday season.
Ingredients
- 6 large flour tortillas
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
- Pinch of ground nutmeg (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, mix together granulated sugar, ground cinnamon, and nutmeg until well blended.
- Brush both sides of each tortilla with melted butter. Sprinkle cinnamon sugar mixture evenly over both sides.
- Slice the tortillas into triangles, strips, or festive shapes. Arrange them in a single layer on the baking sheet.
- Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy. Rotate the pan halfway through the baking.
- Remove from the oven and cool completely on a wire rack.
Notes
