Description

A comforting dish that combines classic meatloaf flavors with gooey cheese, perfect for families and gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 onion, chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 cup ketchup


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, cheese, breadcrumbs, milk, onion, egg, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into a loaf and place in a greased casserole dish.
  4. Spread ketchup on top of the meatloaf.
  5. Bake for 60 minutes or until cooked through. Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

For a cheesier finish, add extra cheese on top before baking. Let the casserole sit for a few minutes after baking to make slicing easier.
