  • 1 sheet of puff pastry
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (e.g., cheddar, mozzarella)
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh herbs (e.g., thyme or rosemary) for garnish


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface.
  3. Cut the pastry into a circle, leaving enough for a lid.
  4. Spread the cream cheese evenly in the center, followed by the shredded cheese and cranberry sauce.
  5. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Fold the pastry over to form a pocket and seal the edges, crimping with a fork.
  7. Brush the top with beaten egg.
  8. Make a few slits in the top to allow steam to escape.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.

Notes
