A delightful comfort food dish that combines tender chicken, gooey cheese, and flaky crescent rolls, perfect for busy weeknights.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or chopped
  • 1 tube refrigerated crescent rolls (8-count)
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese, divided
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional: chopped parsley for garnish


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into triangles. Fill each with cooked chicken and cheese, then roll them up and place seam side down in the baking dish.
  3. In a bowl, mix cream of chicken soup, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper, then pour over the crescent rolls.
  4. Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly. Let sit for 5 minutes before serving.
