Description

Delightful cheesecake bars combining rich creaminess with sweet caramel and crunchy apples, perfect for autumn celebrations.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cans (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups apples, peeled and chopped
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. Combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter; press into the bottom of the baking dish.
  3. Beat the cream cheese and sugar in another bowl until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla.
  4. Fold in chopped apples and cinnamon. Pour this mixture over the crust in the baking dish.
  5. Drizzle caramel sauce over the top of the cheesecake mixture.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the center is set and slightly firm.
  7. Allow to cool, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours before cutting into bars. Serve with extra caramel sauce if desired.

Notes

Use tart apples like Granny Smith for a nice balance with the sweetness of the caramel. Make sure cream cheese is softened for easier mixing.
