Description

A delicious meal bringing together bold flavors of Cajun-seasoned steak with rich, creamy rigatoni pasta.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb Cajun-seasoned steak tips
  • 8 oz rigatoni pasta
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish


Instructions

  1. Cook the rigatoni pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add Cajun-seasoned steak tips and cook until browned, about 3-5 minutes. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium. Add heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  4. Add cooked rigatoni to the skillet, stirring to coat in the sauce.
  5. Return steak tips to the skillet and mix everything together. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley.

Notes

Use high-quality steak for best flavor. Adjust seasoning based on spice preference. For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half or whole milk.
