Description

A delightful dish that combines Cajun flavors with the richness of shrimp and salmon, topped with a creamy garlic sauce. Perfect for family dinners or special occasions.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 lb salmon fillet
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season the shrimp and salmon with Cajun seasoning.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Add the salmon fillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side until cooked through, then remove from the skillet.
  4. In the same skillet, add the shrimp and cook for about 2-3 minutes until pink.
  5. Remove the shrimp and set aside with the salmon.
  6. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  7. Pour in the heavy cream and chicken broth, stirring to combine. Bring to a simmer.
  8. Return the shrimp and salmon to the skillet, and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  9. Season with salt and pepper, and garnish with parsley before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate shrimp and salmon in Cajun seasoning for 30 minutes before cooking. Use fresh seafood for the best taste, but frozen options work well too.
