Description

A delightful blend of creamy pasta and spicy shrimp, Cajun Shrimp Alfredo tantalizes the taste buds with its rich flavors and comforting creaminess.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the shrimp and Cajun seasoning, cooking until the shrimp are pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Pour in the heavy cream and let it simmer for a few minutes. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce thickens.
  6. Add the cooked fettuccine and shrimp back into the skillet; toss to coat in the creamy sauce.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

Use fresh shrimp for the best flavor, and adjust Cajun seasoning according to your heat preference.
