Description

A fun twist on the classic sloppy joe, packed with flavors from Cajun seasoning and barbecue sauce, perfect for family dinners.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 green bell pepper, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for cooking


Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add onion and bell pepper; sauté until softened.
  2. Add garlic and cook for another minute.
  3. Stir in ground chicken, breaking it apart with a spatula. Cook until browned.
  4. Add Cajun seasoning, barbecue sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix well and cook for 5 more minutes.
  5. Serve the mixture on hamburger buns.

Notes
