Ingredients
- 1 lb chicken breast, sliced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon black pepper
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 1 carrot, julienned
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- Cooked rice, for serving
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the sliced chicken breast, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and black pepper. Let it marinate for 15 minutes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add the minced garlic and ginger to the hot oil, sautéing for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Introduce the marinated chicken into the pan. Stir frequently and cook until the chicken is browned and fully cooked through, about 5 to 7 minutes.
- Toss in the sliced bell pepper, broccoli florets, and julienned carrot. Stir-fry everything together for an additional 3 to 4 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
- Serve the stir-fry hot over a bed of cooked rice.
Notes
For a sweeter touch, add honey or brown sugar. Also consider using shrimp, tofu, or different veggies based on personal taste.
