Ingredients
- 2 pounds Ground Beef (80/20)
- 1 cup Italian Breadcrumbs
- 2 large Eggs
- 1/2 cup Milk
- 1/2 cup Ketchup
- 1 medium Minced Onion, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper
- 1/2 cup Ketchup (for topping)
- 1/4 cup Brown Sugar
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, Italian breadcrumbs, eggs, milk, ketchup, minced onion, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Transfer the mixture to a loaf pan and shape it into a loaf.
- In a small bowl, mix ketchup, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce. Spread over the top of the meatloaf.
- Bake for 1 hour, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
- Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
Notes
For best results, do not overmix the ingredients. Use a meat thermometer for perfect doneness.
