Description

A classic, juicy meatloaf recipe that brings warmth to family dinners with simple, satisfying flavors.


Ingredients

  • 2 pounds Ground Beef (80/20)
  • 1 cup Italian Breadcrumbs
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1/2 cup Ketchup
  • 1 medium Minced Onion, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1/2 cup Ketchup (for topping)
  • 1/4 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, Italian breadcrumbs, eggs, milk, ketchup, minced onion, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a loaf pan and shape it into a loaf.
  4. In a small bowl, mix ketchup, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce. Spread over the top of the meatloaf.
  5. Bake for 1 hour, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
  6. Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing.

Notes

For best results, do not overmix the ingredients. Use a meat thermometer for perfect doneness.
