Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh basil for garnishing
Instructions
- Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the chicken breasts and cook until browned on both sides, about 5-7 minutes.
- Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the heavy cream, chicken broth, sun-dried tomatoes, and Italian seasoning. Stir until combined and bring to a simmer.
- Return the chicken to the skillet, cover, and let it simmer for about 10 minutes until the chicken is cooked through.
- Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is creamy.
- Serve the chicken with the creamy sauce poured over it, garnished with fresh basil.
Notes
Use fresh ingredients and don’t overcook the chicken. This dish pairs wonderfully with pasta.
