Description

A creamy, flavorful chicken dish with sun-dried tomatoes and Parmesan cheese that impresses at any gathering.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh basil for garnishing


Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Add the chicken breasts and cook until browned on both sides, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, add the heavy cream, chicken broth, sun-dried tomatoes, and Italian seasoning. Stir until combined and bring to a simmer.
  6. Return the chicken to the skillet, cover, and let it simmer for about 10 minutes until the chicken is cooked through.
  7. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is creamy.
  8. Serve the chicken with the creamy sauce poured over it, garnished with fresh basil.

Notes

Use fresh ingredients and don’t overcook the chicken. This dish pairs wonderfully with pasta.
