Delicious and easy-to-make BBQ Chicken Skewers perfect for gatherings and family dinners.
Ingredients
- ¼ cup chili powder
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon ground thyme
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 2 boneless chicken breasts (cut into cubes)
- 3 green peppers (cut into thick pieces)
- 3 red peppers (cut into thick pieces)
- 1 large onion (cut into thick pieces)
- 10-12 skewers (soaked for at least 30 minutes)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Soak the wooden skewers for at least 30 minutes before use.
- Mix together the BBQ seasonings in a small bowl.
- Season the chicken with the BBQ seasonings and let it sit for about 10 minutes.
- Assemble the skewers by adding pieces of chicken followed by peppers and onions, alternating until filled halfway.
- Preheat your grill to 400ºF.
- Add the skewers to the grill and cook for 10-15 minutes, brushing with olive oil and turning occasionally until the internal temperature reaches 165ºF.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
For intense flavor, marinate chicken for a few hours or overnight. Ensure the grill is well-oiled to prevent sticking.
