A delicious combination of crispy tortilla chips topped with BBQ chicken, cheese, and fresh ingredients, perfect for gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce of choice
  • 1 (14-oz) bag of tortilla chips
  • 2 cups shredded Mexican cheese blend
  • 1/4 cup diced red onion
  • 1/4 cup sliced pickled jalapeños
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • Fresh tomato salsa
  • Easiest guacamole


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. Combine the shredded chicken with 2/3 cup of BBQ sauce in a medium bowl, ensuring everything is well coated.
  3. Layer half of the tortilla chips on a large baking sheet or oven-safe dish.
  4. Top the chips with half of the BBQ chicken mixture.
  5. Sprinkle half of the shredded cheese, diced red onion, and sliced pickled jalapeños over the chicken and chips.
  6. Repeat the layering process with the remaining tortilla chips, BBQ chicken, cheese, red onion, and jalapeños.
  7. Drizzle the remaining 1/3 cup of BBQ sauce over the top.
  8. Bake for about 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese has melted and the nachos are heated throughout.
  9. Remove from the oven and garnish with chopped cilantro, fresh tomato salsa, guacamole, and sour cream (if using).
  10. Allow the nachos to cool for a few minutes before serving, and enjoy them while warm.
