Description

Juicy BBQ Chicken Kebabs marinated in spices and grilled to perfection, perfect for summer gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken thighs or breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 2 teaspoons kosher salt
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons sweet paprika
  • 4 teaspoons sugar
  • 2 teaspoons smoked paprika
  • 2 slices bacon, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
  • 4 (12-inch) metal skewers or 6 wooden skewers, soaked in water for 1 hour
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce


Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken in salt for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Preheat the grill on high for 15 minutes.
  3. Prepare the spice mix combining sweet paprika, sugar, and smoked paprika.
  4. Process the bacon in a food processor until smooth.
  5. Combine the bacon paste and spice mix with the marinated chicken.
  6. Skewer the chicken onto soaked skewers.
  7. Grill the kebabs on high, turning every 2-2.5 minutes until cooked.
  8. Add BBQ sauce to the kebabs and grill for an additional minute on each side.
  9. Rest the kebabs for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

Serve with additional BBQ sauce for dipping. Experiment with vegetables on skewers for added flavor.
