Description

A delightful and easy-to-make BBQ Chicken Flatbread that combines shredded chicken, BBQ sauce, cheese, and flatbread for a tasty meal.


Ingredients

  • 2 heaping cups of precooked shredded chicken breast
  • 3/4 cup BBQ sauce
  • 2 large flatbreads (each weighing about 134 grams)
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F.
  2. Toss the precooked chicken with ½ cup of BBQ sauce in a medium-sized mixing bowl, setting aside the remaining ¼ cup.
  3. Spread the reserved ¼ cup of BBQ sauce evenly over the two flatbreads, going right to the edges if you like.
  4. Top each flatbread with an even layer of the shredded BBQ chicken.
  5. Sprinkle 1 cup of shredded cheese over each flatbread.
  6. Place the pizzas directly on the racks of your preheated oven for a crispier crust, or use a baking sheet if preferred.
  7. Bake for 8-12 minutes, or until the flatbreads are crispy on the bottom and the cheese is fully melted.
  8. Remove the flatbreads from the oven and let them rest for about 5 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Add veggies or fresh herbs for an extra twist. To make it spicier, consider adding jalapeños or using spicy BBQ sauce.
