A delightful dessert combining the creamy richness of cheesecake with the classic flavor of banana pudding.
Ingredients
- 2 cups Nilla wafers
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 16 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 ripe bananas, sliced
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup whipped cream or whipped topping
- 1 cup vanilla pudding mix
- 2 cups milk
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Crush Nilla wafers and mix them with melted butter. Press this mixture into the bottom of a springform pan to form the crust. Bake for 10 minutes, then let it cool.
- Beat cream cheese and sugar in a bowl until smooth.
- Add vanilla extract and mix well.
- Fold in half of the whipped cream.
- Pour the cream cheese mixture over the cooled crust.
- Layer sliced bananas on top of the cream cheese mixture.
- Whisk together the vanilla pudding mix and milk in another bowl until thickened. Pour the pudding over the bananas.
- Top with the remaining whipped cream.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
Notes
Use ripe bananas for the best flavor, and let the cream cheese soften for easier mixing. Avoid freezing for best texture.
