Description

A delightful dish bringing savory Asian flavors into your kitchen, perfect for a weeknight dinner or gathering.


Ingredients

  • 1-1.25 pounds boneless skinless chicken thighs or chicken breast
  • 2/3 cup teriyaki sauce
  • Chopped scallions – optional for garnish
  • Sesame seeds – optional for garnish


Instructions

  1. Pat the chicken dry with a clean paper towel. Cut the chicken into 1-1.5 inch cubes and add them to a medium bowl.
  2. Pour the teriyaki sauce over the chicken and toss to coat. Cover and marinate for at least 30 minutes or up to 1 hour in the refrigerator.
  3. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F and spray the basket with non-aerosol cooking spray.
  4. Add the chicken to the air fryer basket in a single layer and cook for 12-15 minutes, until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165°F.
  5. Remove from the air fryer and serve immediately, garnished with scallions and sesame seeds if desired.

Notes

For best results, marinate overnight for flavor absorption and avoid overcrowding the air fryer.
