Quick and easy air fryer salmon recipe, perfect for busy weeknights with a crispy exterior and tender flakiness.
Ingredients
- 2 salmon filets (6 oz each, skin or no skin)
- 1 tbsp butter (melted)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika (regular or smoked)
- 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt (or any coarse salt)
- Lemon slices
- Fresh dill or parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Brush the tops of the salmon filets with melted butter.
- Mix together the paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Generously sprinkle the mixture over the top of the filets.
- Add foil to the bottom of the air fryer basket and spritz it with a little cooking spray. Preheat the air fryer at 390°F for 5 minutes.
- Place the salmon, skin side down, on the foil. Set the air fryer to ‘air fry’ setting at 390°F for 10 minutes.
- Check for doneness. The internal temperature should be 145°F, and the fish will easily flake with a fork.
- Serve and enjoy with fresh lemon!
Notes
Experiment with different spices and herbs for added flavor. Always preheat the air fryer for the best crisp.
