Description
Crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, air fryer baked potatoes are a delicious and simple side dish that everyone can enjoy.
Ingredients
- 4 medium russet potatoes (7 to 9 oz each)
- 1/2 tsp sea salt (or to taste)
- 1 Tbsp olive oil (or cooking spray)
Instructions
- Scrub the potatoes under running water to remove any dirt, then dry them thoroughly with a towel.
- Poke the potatoes all over with a fork, making 4 to 5 holes.
- Rub each potato with olive oil and sprinkle sea salt generously over them.
- Place the potatoes in the air fryer basket.
- Set the air fryer to 400°F for a basket-style air fryer or 375°F for a toaster-style air fryer.
- Cook the potatoes for 35 to 45 minutes, flipping halfway through. Adjust time based on potato size.
- Check for doneness by piercing with a knife; they should be easily pierced.
Notes
Allow potatoes to rest for a few minutes after cooking for the steam to continue cooking.
