  1. Firstly, take a bowl and place a sieve over it. Put a muslin cloth and add 1 cup curd to it.
  2. Put some weight on top until all the extra water is drained out. After a few hours, the hung curd is ready. Transfer it to a bowl.
  3. Add ½ chopped onion, 1 tsp chopped green chilli, 1 tbsp chopped coriander, ½ tsp salt, and ½ tsp oregano to the hung curd. Mix everything well.
  4. Take 4 brown bread slices.
  5. Spread the prepared mixture over one slice of bread and cover it with another slice. Repeat this with the remaining slices.
  6. For tadka, heat a tawa and add 1 tbsp oil, 1 tsp mustard seeds, and 8 curry leaves.
  7. Keep the flame on medium and place the assembled sandwiches over the tawa. Roast them until golden brown and crispy.
  8. Apply oil on top and flip the sandwiches. Roast them from the other side too.
  9. Once they are cooked perfectly on both sides, remove them from the tawa.
  10. Cut the sandwiches in the center to divide them into two equal parts.
  11. Finally, enjoy your dahi tadka sandwich with green chutney and tomato ketchup.
