  • 1/2 inch ginger
  • 3 green chillies
  • 2 tbsp roasted chana dal
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • Water as required
  • Butter as required
  • 6–8 bread slices

  1. In a blender, combine coriander leaves, garlic, ginger, green chillies, roasted chana dal, and salt. Add water gradually to make a smooth paste. Keep aside.
  2. In a bowl, mix chopped onion, tomato, ginger, green chilli, chaat masala, red chilli powder, salt, and coriander. Let it rest, squeeze out extra moisture, and add grated paneer and cheese. Mix well.
  3. Butter one side of each bread slice. Spread green chutney on the unbuttered side, add the paneer stuffing, and top with another bread slice, buttered side facing out.
  4. Heat a tawa and place the sandwich buttered side down. Toast until golden and crispy on both sides, applying more butter as needed.
